Introduction Ethics and Religious Culture gives students the central role to explore, reflect and discover various ethical issues and religious cultures and to expand their perception of the world around through reflection and opinion.
1. To begin to determine interests, skills and personality traits.
2. To discuss and justify their positions in class discussions.
3. To reflect on one’s own learning and development.
Materials: One 1 inch binder Looseleaf (lined paper) Pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, glue Agenda Fully charged laptop
Evaluation There are 3 weighted terms: Term 1 20% Term 2 20% Term 3 60%
Students will explore specific ethical concepts and religious cultures through various avenues: Homework assignments, in- class projects 2. Hands-on activities to reinforce learning. 3. Discussions and readings on various topics. 4. Viewing different forms of multimedia presentations (video, keynote, etc.).
Evaluation Each unit will be evaluated by a number of tools, which may include homework assignments, discussion work and responses, projects, and participation. These will be done on an ongoing basis each term, and serve to help measure a student's development of critical thinking and reflection.
